About Us

Better accessibility starts with understanding the real fan experience

Access At Ease Consulting is a social venture that was founded with the mission to help sports and entertainment venues create more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable experiences for fans with disabilities.

We specialize in accessibility across the entire fan’s journey, from their initial ticket purchase to each touchpoint throughout the venue. Our goal is to help venues identify barriers, improve compliance, and build a stronger experience for every fan.

We believe the focus of game day should be the experience, not the barriers. We help venues think through the details that shape comfort, confidence, and peace of mind throughout the event.

Services

Accessibility Services Built Around the Fan Experience

We help sports and entertainment venues identify barriers, strengthen accessibility practices, and create more inclusive experiences for fans with disabilities.

Accessibility Assessment

01

We review venue conditions to identify barriers that may affect access, usability, and ADA compliance.

We evaluate key areas throughout the venue, including parking, entrances, accessible routes, seating, restrooms, concessions, disability aids, signage, wayfinding, and other accessibility features.

Following the assessment, you receive a detailed findings report that highlights potential risk areas, practical recommendations, and opportunities to improve access across the fan experience.

Our recommendations go beyond the minimum requirements by also considering universal and inclusive design principles that can help create a more welcoming, usable, and enjoyable venue for all fans.

Fan Experience Evaluation

02

Evaluate the accessibility journey from the perspective of fans with disabilities.

We review the full fan experience from the moment a fan begins planning their visit through arrival, entry, seating, concessions, restrooms, in-event services, and exit. This includes how fans find accessibility information, locate accessible parking or drop-off areas, navigate to their seats, purchase concessions, use restrooms, understand signage, access available services, and move through the venue on event day.

Our evaluations focus on how accessibility works in real-world conditions, helping venues identify barriers, gaps, and opportunities that may affect comfort, independence, inclusion, and overall fan satisfaction.

03

Policy & Process Review

Assess accessibility-related policies, communications, accommodations, and internal workflows.

We review your current accessibility policies and procedures to help identify gaps, clarify responsibilities, and strengthen the way your venue supports fans with disabilities. This may include ticketing procedures, accessible seating processes, accommodation requests, service animal policies, assistive services, complaint handling, and event-day escalation workflows.

Our recommendations are tailored to your venue’s operations and focused on creating more consistent, inclusive, and practical fan experience strategies.

We help document the strengthened policies, define process ownership, internal roles, and responsibilities so you have a clearer path for continued implementation, review, and success.

04

Staff Training

Help guest services, operations, and event staff better understand accessibility responsibilities and best practices.

We provide practical accessibility training to help staff understand your venue’s policies, procedures, and their role in supporting fans with disabilities. Training can be tailored for guest services, ushers, ticketing teams, security, parking staff, concessions, operations, and other event-day team members.

Our training focuses on creating consistency between your accessibility policies and the actual support fans receive on event day. This helps staff respond with greater confidence, communicate more clearly, and provide a more inclusive and welcoming fan experience.

Training can help ensure your documented procedures are understood, implemented, and carried through in real-world venue operations.

05

Accessibility
Fan Guide

Create clearer fan-facing accessibility information for websites, event pages, and venue communications.

We help create easy-to-use accessibility resource guides that give fans with disabilities the information they need to plan their visit with greater confidence. These guides can include details on accessible parking, entrances, seating, restrooms, elevators, disability aids, and other important venue resources.

Pre-planning is often an important part of the event-day experience for fans with disabilities. Clear and accessible information can help reduce uncertainty, answer common questions, and make the visit feel easier before a fan ever arrives at the venue.

A strong accessibility fan resource guide helps venues communicate more clearly, support fans more effectively, and create a more welcoming experience from the very first interaction.

06

Ongoing Consulting

Support planning, improvements, prioritization, and accessibility strategy over time.

Accessibility is not a one-time effort. We provide ongoing consulting support to help venues continue improving their accessibility practices, respond to questions, prioritize recommendations, and plan for future updates or events.

Whether your team needs help evaluating a new issue, reviewing a proposed improvement, responding to fan feedback, preparing for a major event, or deciding what to address next, we can provide practical guidance and help point you in the right direction.

Our ongoing support helps venues stay proactive, informed, and focused on creating a more accessible and inclusive experience for fans over time.
